The Quiet Voice of Higher Wisdom
There are moments in life when fear arrives without warning. This is for the widow who feels forgotten, the man who lost his job, for the woman caring for an elderly parent. For the lonely soul who wonders if anyone sees them… and this is for you because you found it.
Fear can appear as a tightening in the chest, a sleepless night, an unexpected bill, the anxiety of wondering how tomorrow will somehow take care of itself.
Many people are living through these moments today.
Across the world, families are feeling the weight of rising costs, uncertain futures, loneliness, grief, and change. Behind smiling faces are quiet battles that few people ever see.
If this is where you find yourself, know that you are not alone.
Fear has a powerful voice.
It speaks of lack.
It speaks of endings.
It speaks of hopelessness and whispers that we are somehow forgotten.
Its purpose is to convince us that the darkness is permanent. Yet beneath all of this is another voice.
It does not shout.
It does not demand our attention.
It waits patiently for us to become still enough to hear it.
This is the quiet voice of Higher Wisdom. Some call it the voice of the soul, some call is divine guidance, others know it simply as GOD gently speaking within the heart. “I know this season is hard, but don’t lose hope!”.
Names matter far less than the experience itself. For when we become quiet, something extraordinary begins to happen. We discover that beneath our frightened thoughts there is a deeper knowing- a peaceful presence that has never left us. It reminds us that our worth has never been measured by our possessions, our income, our achievements or the opinions of others.
It reminds us that every soul walks through seasons. There are seasons of abundance and seasons of waiting. Seasons of certainty and seasons of faith. Neither lasts forever.
As a medium, I have come to believe our souls are never abandoned, even when our human minds believe they are. Again and again, I have witnessed gentle moments of guidance that arrive just when they are needed- a conversation, an unexpected kindness, a new opportunity or an inner feeling that quietly says- keep going.
Rarely does Higher Wisdom reveal the entire journey. Instead it offers enough light for the next step. Perhaps this is how it has always been. Life is not lived twenty years at a time. It is lived one breath….. one act of kindness…. one quiet moment of trust….
If today feels overwhelming, I invite you to pause for just a few minutes.
Turn away from the noise of fear.
Take a slow breath.
Place your hand upon your heart, ask quietly. Higher Wisdom what would you have me know today? Then simply listen. Do not force an answer. Do not expect thunder or miracles. The deepest wisdom often arrives as the gentlest feeling.
A little peace.
A little courage.
A little more hope than you had a moment before.
Perhaps it’s not your imagination at all. Perhaps it is the loving presence that has been walking beside you all along.
Perhaps the greatest wisdom is not found in always having answers, but in learning to trust the loving presence that walks beside us through every question. The world needs more than opinions. It needs more compassion. It needs people who remember that every stranger is carrying a story we cannot see. May we become gentler with one another. May we remember that asking for help is not weakness but courage.
The Quiet Voice of Higher Wisdom- has never stopped speaking. It has been whispering through every sunrise, every kindness, every moment of courage and every season of waiting.
May you find the courage to become still enough to hear it. For perhaps the answers we seek are not found in searching harder, but by listening more deeply.
