Remembering Your Life Purpose: The Clues That Have Been With You All Along
From childhood dreams to the quiet passions that continue to guide us, our purpose may have been gently revealing itself from the very beginning.
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself: What did I want to be when I grew up?
Before the responsibilities of adulthood, before expectations shaped our decisions, before we learned what was a younger version of ourselves who was naturally drawn towards certain things.
Perhaps it was building, teaching, caring for others, creating or simply being fascinated by the world around us. Children have a beautiful way of moving towards what feels meaningful, they are naturally curious, they follow what brings them joy without needing to justify why.
Perhaps these early interests are more than simple childhood preferences. Perhaps they are gentle clues- small glimpses of the gifts, passions and qualities that were always waiting within us.
I have come to believe that our life purpose is not something we have to force into existence. It is something that has been quietly woven into who we are from the very beginning. It’s just your destiny, it is meant to be.
I also believe that we never undertake any education that will not benefit us in some way throughout our lives in one way or another.
Perhaps your life purpose is not something you have lost and need to find- it’s been quietly walking beside you all along.
The dreams you carried as a child, the things that bought you joy, the gifts you naturally shared and the experiences that shaped you may all be part of the beautiful story your life is continuing to write.
Sometimes the greatest discoveries are not found by searching for something new.
Sometimes they are found by remembering who we have always been! Do what you love and it will be a pleasure and a joy to you, it’s the key to happiness.
