When Spirit Whispers

Whispered in the quiet of the night.

There are moments in life when something happens that seams far too perfectly timed to be coincidence.

A song begins playing just as someone you love comes into your thoughts. A familiar perfume seems to drift through an empty room. You wake from a dream feeling as though you have genuinely spent time with someone who is no longer here. A feather falling in front of your eyes out of nowhere with it’s end in the shape of a love heart. A bird sitting outside your window looking in and singing. A butterfly or a dragonfly or a moth, making an appearance and landing on you or around you. Watches or clocks that have been stopped for years suddenly start working. Computer and TV screens going into meltdown, and then suddenly working fine.

Sometimes there is no obvious sign at all.

Only a feeling.

A sudden warmth. A memory that arrives from nowhere. The unmistakable sense that, for just a moment, you are not alone.

I know spirit speaks to us far more often than most people realize.
Not always dramatically. Not always in ways that can be explained or proven. More often, the communication is quiet and deeply personal –
something meaningful enough that you recognize it.

People often look for feathers, coins, numbers, and butterflies yes, but spirit is not limited to a particular symbol.
The greatest signs are often the ones connected specifically to the person you have lost.
Their favourite song.
A phrase they always used.
A particular flower.
A scent you immediately associate with them.
Something appearing at precisely the moment you needed reassurance.
And then there are dreams.

Many people tell me they have dreamt of someone they love who has passed away, they awake knowing if felt different. You can be reassured that you did meet up with them in the astral world. This way of communicating is wonderful especially if you can remember them. Often it is guidance for us in our daily lives.
And when we are quiet enough to notice, there can be little reminders of that connection everywhere. So next time something makes you stop and think of someone you love, don’t be too quick to dismiss it.
You don’t need to analyze every detail or search constantly for signs.
Simply notice.

Because sometimes, in the quietest moment, spirit whispers:

I am still here.
